1. I think that your first question is interesting i was unaware that 31% of immigrants between 1900 and 1990 returned to their home country. Perhaps this is because America was the ideal place that they thought it was going to be. Maybe they did not agree with some of the key points of the constitution because it differed from what they were used to in their home country.
ReplyDelete2. Your question 17 was interesting and I also wonder the same thing, Why would some states have a religious tax and some not? Maybe its the states that are older and more conservative with their views toward religion. Or it could be that the more liberal states are uneasy without a religious tax for some reason.
