It is a non-profit membership organization created to benefit the public interest, and the interests of science through research, development and demonstration of near-zero emissions coal technology."
  2. The estimated cost has risen, then began to decline.
  3. Began Construction on October 1.
  4. Introduced by Bush administration in February, 2003.
  5. It was cancelled in January of 2008, then revived by Obama administration in June, 2009.
